Maslinica - A charming and quiet coastal village, Maslinica is known for its unspoiled natural beauty, pine forests, and an archipelago of seven nearby islets. The village dates back to 1703 when the Venetian governor granted the Marchi family permission to build a settlement with a castle and defensive towers to guard against pirate attacks. Must-see landmarks include the Marchi Castle and Archery Oliveto.

Mrduja - small, uninhabited islet between Brač and Šolta

Mrduja - One of the island’s most unique events, the Mrduja Tug of War, celebrates the legendary dispute between Šolta and Brač over ownership of the small islet of Mrduja. Boats from both islands tie up to the islet and engage in a playful tug-of-war, pulling it toward their side. The event ends with a lively celebration in the stunning bay of Stomorska.
