(during the reign of Venice), and was restored in 1579. A stunning UNESCO-protected agricultural masterpiece founded by the ancient Greeks 2400 years ago. Main rows of grapes and olives have been cultivated for 24 centuries.

Pakleni islands

A magical group of islands known as the Pakleni or Paklinski islands. Locally called 'Škoji', these islands emerge from the blue of the Adriatic like hidden pearls. They were named after paklina, a type of pine resin, which the people of Hvar used in shipbuilding. Just the pure beauty of nature, exotic beaches and beautiful bays that you will not forget!
